Inside The Life Of A Digital Marketing Consultant: Tenerife, Business Trips & Online Reputation Management

As I sit here writing this, I’m currently on the penultimate business trip of the year in my favourite home from home: Tenerife.

For those of you who may not know, I actually temporarily relocated to Tenerife back in January 2020 due to the business opportunities granted to me by Nordic Consulting – a distinguished timeshare lawyer based in Los Cristianos.

I was embedded into their business to take care of their online reputation management, as competitors attempted to bring them down for the sake of their own business growth. I also worked from within their offices to work on their local, and global SEO to help generate more business leads. They are now home to the most trusted timeshare lawyers in Spain.

The business move was then cut short in April 2020 at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, and following the arrival of my beautiful daughter, Amber. Yet, after landing back in the UK I continued to work closely with Nordic Consulting and the team and did so happily up until early 2021.

During my short time on this beautiful island I made lots of great connections with other business owners, and with glorious sunshine all year round it’s one of the best places for realigning your mindset. So, oh is it good to be back!

I’m returning this time after being recommended again to lend my services to another company here in Tenerife. Similar to Nordic, I’m here to advise, consult, & fix the reputation of an individual whose name has been tarnished and to execute a reputation management strategy. I’ve learned that in business there is nowhere to hide in unprecedented times and that it’s important to act on them quickly. I’m therefore passionate about helping those who find themselves in deep water.

Whilst here, I’m also meeting with a client specializing in wills and estate planning in preparation for supporting them with their SEO & website development. As a digital marketing consultant, I feel as if I’ve spent the last few years sitting in front of a screen sat on virtual calls, so it’s great to be out here working & speaking to business owners face to face.

I’ve also taken the time during this week-long trip to throw myself into a fitness retreat, and with a big ex-pat community, I’ve met many others like myself throughout my stay.

As I addressed above, this is my penultimate trip of 2022 and I’ll be rounding off the year in Barcelona halfway through December to seal off some exciting business deals before taking a well-earned break over the Christmas period.

Finally, if you would like some support with the management of your online reputation and to start 2023 with a clean slate please contact me today.
