A powerful new documentary, 3 Peaks 3 Pots, will have its gala premiere at ARC Stockton on 6th November 2025 as part of the Tees Valley International Film Festival.
Directed by multi award winning British filmmaker Paul Suggitt, the documentary follows adventurer and entrepreneur John Beamson (The CEO Adventurer) as he takes on one of the UK’s most punishing endurance challenges: conquering three iconic Yorkshire peaks and descending into three of Britain’s deepest potholes, all in a single, relentless journey.
Blending breath taking landscapes, underground exploration and raw human determination, 3 Peaks 3 Pots captures not only the physical toll of the challenge but also the mindset required to face extreme adversity. The film explores themes of resilience, leadership and transformation, making it both an inspiring watch and a timely reminder of the power of grit in today’s uncertain world.
“This isn’t just about adventure for adventure’s sake,” said John Beamson. “It’s about testing yourself in ways most people never will, in the dark, in the cold, when your body says stop but your mind has to find a reason to carry on. That’s where real growth happens.”
Filmed on location across the Yorkshire Dales, the documentary showcases dramatic underground sequences, intimate interviews and behind the scenes insights into what it takes to prepare for and complete such a gruelling expedition.
Festival organisers have hailed the film as one of the must see premieres of 2025, bringing a spotlight to the Tees Valley region while celebrating northern filmmaking talent.
